MLE debuts new articulated lift
14 October 2009
Man & Material Lift Engineering (MLE) showcased its new A70TDi articulating, insulated aerial at October's International Construction and Utility Equipment Expo (ICUEE) in Louisville. "It's suited for tree trimming and utilities," said Sarah Fronczak, sales engineer with MLE.
Even with a 79-foot working height, the A70TDi can fold up into itself measuring a stowed width of 34.5 inches, allowing it to pass through single gate doorways, Fronczak said. It can reach sideways up to 35 feet.
The unit features a 46kb electrically insulated, 6-foot fiberglass boom tip and bucket and features non-conductive hoses. A non-insulated version, as well as a 48-volt battery-powered version for indoor applications, are also available.
The A70TDi features 48 percent gradeability, and has auto-leveling outriggers and hydraulically adjustable tracks.
Optional features include: tool circuit, bucket liner and AC auxiliary power unit for indoor use.
