Belgian genset manufacturer Europower is developing a new range of large gensets and will show a 100 kVA model at IRE as well as a new 11 kVA model.

Known primarily for its smaller gensets, Europower last year entered the larger genset market with the launch of a 250 kVA unit. At IRE show it again expands its offering in the larger sizes, with launches in the 60 - 250 kVA range, including a 100 kVA model.

Assembled in Belgium, these are rental specification models, with 30 hour running fuel capacity; special ‘rental power connectors' for direct power connection; compact dimensions and galvanized chassis; and noise levels of just 95 LWA on the 100 KVA model. Customers can choose between Mecc Alte or Leroy Somer alternators.

The company remains focused also on the smaller sized units, and at IRE is will show a new 11 kVA New Boy model, the EPS113TDE.

Designed for used at events and construction projects, the genset has a 58 l capacity fuel tank giving as much as 19 hours of operation. Using a three cylinder, water cooled Kubota diesel engine, the generator has a low fuel level shut down; noise level of 90 LwA or 65 dB(A) at 7 m; lockable central lifting eye; and forklift holes on four sides.

Europower also now represents Tolsma Tankbouw, the Dutch manufacturer of IBC transport containers for fuel and oil, and will have examples of its tanks on show in Amsterdam.
