The 12th Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition and Seminar (BICES) will take place from 15th to 18th October next year at the Beijing Jiuhua International Exhibition Center, China, the organisers have announced.

The event is held every two years, alternating with the Bauma China exhibition in Shanghai, and 2013 exhibition space is expected to reach 230000 m2, compared to 200000 m2 the last time the show was held in October 2011. Over 1500 exhibitors are expected to be attracted to the 2013 event.

BICES 2013 is organised Beijing Asiamachine International Convention & Exhibition (BAICE) in partnership with US trade body the Association of Equipment Manufacturers.

BAICE said main focusses of the show would include new technology and green products, as well as ways of achieving sustainable growth for the future machinery market in China, which has experienced a significant slow-down this year.
