Pneumatech expands rental line
30 September 2012
Pneumatech is to expand its product line of rental dryers, following increased market demand from the oil and gas industry.
The manufacturer, which is owned by Atlas Copco, is to step up it marketing efforts and add a new product to its rental line, according to Ellen Steck, president of Pneumatech North America.
Pneumatech already offers short and long-term dryer rentals for oil and gas refineries, pipelines, chemical plants, food and pharmaceutical production facilities, electronics manufacturing plants, construction sites and paper mills.
The company offers five standard-model heatless regenerative rental dryers with plans to add a sixth to its air treatment line. Inlet capacities for Pneumatech’s dryers range from 500 to 6,500 cfm. The dryers include an air/oil separator and a coalescing pre-filter and particulate after-filter that clean air contaminants down to .01 micron.
“Pneumatech had developed a reputation for offering quality rental dryers, but now we’re marketing them more aggressively and expanding the product line to meet the demand we see, especially in the midstream and downstream channels for oil and gas,” said Ms Steck.
“We think there’s huge potential out there for future Pneumatech rental customers.”
Pneumatech dryers also use an F-220 desiccant, which is not available in any other rental dryer. This is used for drying, acid removal, process stream purification and hydrocarbon adsorption.
