Ramirent expands Skanska Maskin agreement

20 June 2016

Finnish rental company Ramirent has expanded its equipment supply agreement with contractor Skanska Maskin in Sweden. It is a five-year deal which includes an option for prolongation.

In conjunction with expanding the agreement, Ramirent said it had also sold its stock of larger tower cranes in Sweden to Skanska Maskin. The contractor said it would integrate the tower cranes into its own fleet, and also make them available to rent to Ramirent’s customers.

Henrik Johansson, managing director at Skanska Maskin, said, “With this co-operation we want to secure flexible access to equipment and increase efficiency in our construction projects.”

And president and CEO of Ramirent Magnus Rosén said, “We are very happy that Skanska Maskin has chosen to expand and prolong its agreement with Ramirent in Sweden.

“Our co-operation started in Sweden 2014 and has now further deepened. With this expanded agreement we can provide a higher level of service and meet our customers’ needs without having to compromise on quality or safety.”
