While Finland-based Ramirent’s depots and offices remain open in the nine European countries where it operates, the company has implemented various measures to safeguard people’s health.

Ramirent’s new CEO Erik Bengtsson said, “Ramirent as a company, and I as the CEO, have a responsibility towards our employees, customers and partners. Their health and safety are our top priority.”

Although the measures vary a little across the countries depending on the recommendations and directives of local authorities, all business trips are being avoided and staff are being discouraged from using public transport.

Those who can work from home are doing so, and all meetings – internal, with customers and with suppliers – are being held digitally.

New cleaning routines have been introduced in Ramirent’s workplaces, and all physical training sessions have been suspended until further notice.
