Awards shortlists – Industrial Demolition

Today we are announcing the shortlists for the World Demolition Awards.

Four companies are going head to head in the Industrial Demolition category.

  • Demex (Australia) – whose project included the demolition of 43 buildings in the Mulwala explosives facility in New South Wales
  • Erith Contractors (United Kingdom) – for asbestos removal, decontamination, deplant and demolition at two chloromethanes facilities in Runcorn, north west England
  • Liberty Industrial (Australia) – for a programme of works comprising six packages involving the removal of mineral sands mining and processing facilities in several remote locations
  • McMahon Services (Australia) – for deconstructing and scrapping quay and gantry cranes at PSA’s Singapore City terminals.

The World Demolition Awards take place on Thursday 12 November and are organised by Demolition & Recycling International in co-operation with the European Demolition Association and the National Demolition Association of the USA.
