ESTA Awards and market update video

A video recording is now available of the full ESTA Awards & Market Update online event held last week, 24 September.

The event ran for nearly two hours and combined the announcement of the winners of the ESTA Awards of Excellence online with three presentations focusing on the prospects for the crane and specialized transport industry over the next few years and in the wake of Covid-19.

In the video you can see Atul Arya, chief energy strategist at IHS Markit, give his view on global energy market trends. Arya’s background includes 20 years with BP. Arya was joined by Wim Sarens, CEO of Sarens Group, who talked about current “dynamic” market trends, and Chris Sleight, managing director at Off-Highway Research, who spoke about the global market for mobile cranes. A question and answer session followed each speaker’s presentation.

Interspersed with the presentations are sessions announcing the ten winners in the prestigious ESTA Awards of Excellence for 2020. Hundreds of people were registered for the live event and now for those who didn’t see it as it happened, it is now available as a video.
