Dahlsten appointed head of Ramirent's Swedish and Danish operations

04 September 2009

Ramirent has appointed Peter Dahlsten as president of Sweden and Denmark and a member of the group management team as from 7 September.

The appointment of Mr Dahlsten, who has been chief financial officer of Ramirent's Swedish subsidiary since 2004, follows the announcement in May that Mikael Öberg, Ramirent's senior vice president for Scandinavia, was leaving the company.

Before joining Ramirent, he worked in different positions within NCC groups' financial organisation since 1989. He joined Ramirent when it acquired NCC's rental business, Altima.

Another new appointment is that of Mikael Kämpe, who is now director, group fleet and a member of the group management team. He will be responsible for managing Group fleet operations, sale of equipment, supplier agreements and developing the standards for Ramirent's pan-European fleet.

He has been manager of group fleet since March 2009, having previously been purchasing manager for Ramirent since 2004.
