Load monitoring specialist Straightpoint has agreed a deal to distribute its products in China.

In the UK Straightpoint designs and manufactures force measurement, load monitoring and suspended weighing load cells. General Lifting Engineering Co Ltd China (GLE) will offer the products through its 67 distributors, sub-distributors and sales agents. It is a member of the UK-based Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA).

"The expansion with GLE will ensure that we are able to develop our services and presence in the Chinese market. The future prospects look very promising and we are extremely pleased for Straightpoint (UK) Ltd to be associated and growing with GLE," said David Ayling, Straightpoint managing director.

Straightpoint now has 22 overseas distributors supplying its crane scales, tension and compression load cells.
