Attachment supplier Everdigm has announced the introduction of what will be known as the Series 6 line of hydraulic breakers that have been designed to provide increased levels of durability and quieter, more efficient operation. Available by the end of 2009, 15 models will make up the RHB 6 series, replacing the 15 models in the current 3 Series Prime BA line.

According to the company, the housing structure has been strengthened and the front and back steel plates have been increased in depth to make them more resistant to abrasion through the use of a new welded structure. In addition, the shape and lenght of the front bush has been modified to provide improved durability as well as to reduce front head deformation through the provision of greater surfaCce contact.

Everdigm also said that it curently is developing a demolition shear attachment that will receive its formal launch at next year's Bauma show in Munich. The new attachment has been designed for use on 40-45 tonne carriers, but further details are not yet available.
