Darda's CC430 replaces the previous CC420 and offers greater crushing power

New on the Brokk stand at Intermat was the 240 kg (529 lb) Darda CC430 concrete crusher, which replaces the previous CC420 model. It is designed for use with the Brokk 160 robot or alternatively with mini excavators weighing from 2.5 to 4.8 tonnes.

Despite its compact dimensions it has a standard crushing force of up to 382 kN (38 tons) and an jaw opening of 431 mm (17 inches). When equipped with additional teeth a crushing force of up to 675 kN (68.8 tons) can be achieved. Compared to the model it replaces, the CC430 offers approximately 25 % higher productivity rate through new designed cutting tips and optimised hydraulics, more stable cover plates and improved protection of hydraulic hoses, greater opening width of the jaw for reinforced concrete and longer wear bushing service life.
