Since its full launch in April this year, Content Studio has written articles, whitepapers, blogs and social media posts, as well as hosting webinars and live events.

Having hit its half-year target ahead of schedule, the division is now developing additional resources, ahead of further growth in 2025.

Businesses in North America and across Europe have so far engaged the services of the Content Studio team, to produce content which is initially promoted to targeted audiences through KHL’s brands.

Mike Hayes, head of content with the new division, said, “We lean heavily on KHL’s 30 years of editorial experience before creating content for clients, whether that be in-depth technical articles or producing scripts for live industry events.

Information-hungry audiences

“The aim for us is always to produce content that delivers information that goes beyond the received wisdom, and in a way that KHL audiences have appreciated for many years.

“To do that, we start from the perspective of buyers and users of equipment or services – looking at their real-world challenges.”

Content Studio director, Milla Nurmikko, puts the division’s fast start down to a clear industry need for new messages that resonate with under-pressure businesses.

“As well as the wealth of industry experience at KHL,” she said, “we have an audience of more than half a million industry professionals, operating across a range of sectors including construction, power, quarrying, mining, demolition, access and equipment rental.

“Many of the businesses in our industry are facing new challenges, such as how and when to electrify their equipment or how to stay ahead of fast-changing climate-change regulations. They are looking to equipment manufacturers and service providers to be very clear about how they can help them make good business decisions.

“Content Studio is in a unique position to help with this. We are able to provide clients with strategic content campaigns that can offer long-term benefits – and that fit seamlessly within their marketing and communication plans.”
