UAE-based United Mechanical Equipment Trading Est. (UME) has launched the new range of Sany rough terrain cranes into the UAE market.

The exclusive agent for Sany in the UAE is now supplying the market with rough terrain cranes ranging from 35 to 75 tonnes. These machines complement its catalogue of other Sany products, which include truck cranes, all terrain cranes and special purpose cranes.

According to Eng. Saif Al Neaimi, UME general manager, the company has reported a sales volume of US$ 18 million for Sany mobile cranes from January to August 2012, with US$ 5 million in advanced sales bookings for the rest of the year.

In a further development, UME has also opened a showroom in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi. From its Abu Dhabi base, UME serves construction companies, contractors and the PMV industry, and has a staff of 380.
