Senior management from WH Surface Preparation demonstrate the new DFG700 grinder and SPE 316-3 dust control unit from SPE International.

UK-based rental company WH Surface Preparation has added to its range of surface preparation equipment with the purchase of a DFG700 triple head planetary grinder and a SPE 316-3 phase dust control unit from SPE International.

WH Surface Preparation chose the two SPE units as they both work from the same power source – a 32amp 3-phase supply. The rental firm also said that the two units provide excellent suction resulting in no dust and less debris to be removed from the floor following the grinding process.

WH sales director Mark Gater said he was looking forward to being able to offer customers a greater range of equipment and accessories when it comes to the removal of contaminants and the controlled grinding and polishing of concrete and terrazzo surfaces.

WH will now offer the VAC316 3-phase dust control unit with any of the 3-phase range of machines it hires out, such as the DFG200, DFG250 and DFG500 floor grinders and the BEF275 and BEF320 floor planers, according to technical director Nick Forbes.

“The DFG700 has proved to be a popular addition to our range and is now being supplied into the rental industry", said Paul Mansfield, sales director, SPE, "We expect the demand for this product to increase further over the next year as the flooring, construction, refurbishment and maintenance industries are able to use the equipment without direct capital investment.”

The new SPE units can be hired and sent anywhere in the UK via WH Surface Preparation’s specialist delivery vehicles and also on a next day pallet service.
