Danish manufacturer Linddana has updated its TP 175 mobile wood chipper model with the addition of a fold-up funnel and a height-adjustable ejector spout.

The company said the refinements boosted the flexibility of the machine, which was launched at the end of 2013. Linddana said the TP 175 had found success in the market place, and the updates had been integrated in response to customer requests.

The TP 175 mobile vario spout boasts a foldable funnel that is said to be wider and more open to allow for better better visibility of the feed roller area. Another plus is that trees with side branches have improved access, according to the company.

Once folded up – during transport and storage – the machine is significantly shorter than the original model, said Linddana. In parking position, the machine is 1.75m tall.

The new TP vario spout height-adjustable ejector spout enables the operator to blow wood chips in any direction required, with a rotation of 270o. Linddana said this facilitated easy and precise collection of wood chip.

The manufacturer also highlighted the low weight of the machine, at 749 kg. It said this allowed the road tow wood chipper to be transported by everyone with a standard driving licence.
