Rotar grows equipment production capacity

25 February 2016

Netherlands-based hydraulic attachments manufacturer Rotar has increased its production capacity by adding 1,300 sq m (14,000 sq ft) to its factory in Poland.

The company makes mobile scrap shears, pulverisers, demolition shears, grabs and other hydraulic attachments and the news follows a move into the North America in 2015.

Technical director Roel Barelds said: “We want to meet the increasing demand for our products, and for that reason we need to grow together with the success our customers have.

“For that reason, we’ve expanded our production plant with a additional 1,300 sq m. Sparks will fly in the new hall as the cutting and burning of steel plates among other machining procedures will take place in this addition to the factory.”

Rotar added that it plans to produce more products at the larger end of its range, and is investing in machining tools, heavy forklifts and a new spray booth.
