Aquajet has unveiled the next generation Aqua Cutter hydrodemolition robot

Hydrodemolition specialist Aquajet has used the bauma show to showcase its latest generation Aqua Cutter robot, which it claims offers increased versatility, productivity and ease of use.

The company said of the new machine: "Without changing the winning concepts that have brought Aquajet Systems AB to the leading position as the innovator in the hydrodemolition business, we still keep our general headlines."

The new machine is the result of 25 years experience in the sector and features a more sturdy base with a greater vertical reach of 7 m (23 ft). It also offers the well established and patented technology seen on previous Aqua Cutters, such as EDS, ISC and Smart Lance systems - all of which having been updated. The machine alos offers an extended track length and width, greater engine power with a fuel conservation option, the option of a hybrid drive and a gull wing cover and a new overall design that provides easier maintenance.
