Visitors watch an operator demonstrate an Engcon tiltrotator

Excavator attachments specialist Engcon is demonstrating its latest tiltrotator technology at the Festival Grounds this week.

The Swedish manufacturer opened its North American operation two years ago, and says it is aiming to use ConExpo as a platform to show the potential of tiltrotators to American ‘early adopters’.

Anders Smith, region director at Engcon, says, “It is important for those who are as yet unaware to see our products at work, because many can hardly believe that the tiltrotator is really as effective as it is. We want the tiltrotator to be an obvious choice in North America as it is in the Nordics, and to do so we have to dare to invest.”

Engcon is running demonstrations with an excavator equipped with a tiltrotator and an automatic, hydraulic quick-hitch, together with a selection of hydraulic tools.

Smith says that, as well as seeing an experienced operator demonstrate the versatility of a tiltrotator, visitors to the stand will be able to test an excavator fitted with the attachment themselves.

“We know that those who test our products become sold on them,” he says.

Engcon are located in the Festival Grounds at stand F2764.
