Integrated Logistics to speak at CATME
22 February 2018
Kuwait-based Integrated Logistics Company will report on the heavy transport and lifting work it carried out on the Shagaya Energy Park project at the upcoming Cranes and Transport Middle East (CATME) conference in Dubai on 10 October.
Integrated Logistics, which is one of the largest crane and transport companies in the Middle East, transported and erected five 2 MW wind turbines on the wind farm. The turbines are one element of a larger renewable energy plant that Kuwait is building as part of its long-term renewable energy strategy.
Dr Shan Senthil, marketing manager at Integrated Logistics, will use his CATME presentation to describe the project in detail. It will be an opportunity for the company to share best practice in wind turbine erection, an activity that is expected to expand in the Middle East in the coming years.
Also speaking at the conference will be Aaron Chehab, chief commercial officer of Dubai-based KBW Investments, the owner of Raimondi cranes. Chehab, a former business development manager at construction contractor Kier Group, will give an overview of construction markets in the Middle East.
John Woodward, owner of C&D Consultancy in the UK, will meanwhile give a presentation on how to prepare your business for a crisis, for example, an accident. Woodward will draw on decades of international experience in construction and demolition.
