Palazzani has been making recent international sales with units going to France and Iran.

An XTJ 52 tracked platform has been delivered to France-based rental company Serviloc Nacelles.

Benoit Balu, CEO Serviloc Nacelles, has had a Palazzani TSJ 39 Spider in his fleet since 2011 and is seeing growing demand in France for platforms to access telephone and TV aerials in difficult to access locations in mountainous regions, for example. Further to this application, the machine will be used for general indoor and outdoor maintenance and cleaning.

The XTJ 52 has a 52 working height and 19.5m outreach, with compact dimensions of 8898mm, 2400 mm x 1450mm. This customised version has a 400 kg in the cage, anemometer and is installed with a 500kg hydraulic winch so that it can be used as a spider crane. Earlier this year Serviloc added another Palazzani, a 32m working height Ragno TZ 330 to its fleet.

The Italian manufacturer has also been busy in Iran with the sale of a Ragno TSJ 35 for the Iran Mall, based in the northwest suburbs of Tehran, Iran.

It will be one of the world’s biggest commercial malls, two and a half times the size of the largest in Dubai.

The unit has been supplied through local dealer Istaboojan Raeen Novin. It has an Eco (Diesel+AC) power option and is already operating inside the mall.

According to Palazzani, 10,000 workers have been responsible for the load‐bearing walls, costing around $2 billion. The mammoth commercial centre will host as many as 1000 shops, two hotels, cinemas, a fairground, offices, a cultural centre and sports complexes including an ice rink. The interior design will emulate the typical Persian culture, while outside there will be large gardens with fountains, trees and cafes.
