McCloskey appoints new Ireland distributor

Screening and crushing equipment manufacturer McCloskey International has added TBF Construction Machinery, part of TBF Thompson Group, to its global network of distributors.
Established in Ireland in 1958, TBF Group has depots in Dublin, Mallusk and Portadown. It serves multiple industries including demolition, haulage, transport and quarrying in both the private and public sectors.
John O’Neill, vice-president, sales for McCloskey International, said: “Bringing TBF Construction Machinery on board continues to demonstrate our commitment to partnering with companies that are dedicated to their customers, and to their business success.”
He added: “Their rich history of serving the Irish market, paired with their in-the-field experience, positions them for consistent success.“
TBF Group are an authorised Hitachi dealer and also offer and service Bell dump trucks, DAF trucks, Thwaites dumpers, Bomag compacting equipment, Cummins engines, Doosan Portable Power, Palfinger cranes and Montabert breaker products.
According to McCloskey, TBF Constuction Machinery will offer a full range of McCloskey products, parts and services to the Irish market.
Speaking of the firm’s appointment as a McCloskey distributor, Seamus Doherty, director for TBF Construction Machinery, said: “We pride ourselves in supplying premium brand franchises, which McCloskey International certainly is, and we look forward to building a great relationship in the years to come.”
This latest news comes just months after Kemach Equipment was appointed as McCloskey’s distributor in South Africa, Lesotho, Swaziland (Eswatini) and Botswana.
