APEM Components’ new IH Hall Effect pushbutton switch

US equipment manufacturer APEM Components has introduced a new IH Hall Effect pushbutton switch.

According to the manufacturer, which specializes in LED indicators, joysticks and switches, the new pushbutton switch can offer a long-life contactless switching of five million operations.

Available in two versions, the IHL and the IHS, the new switch features a 12mm diameter bushing with a low behind-panel depth. The dome shaped actuator is available in eight colours.

The IHS Series offers a rugged switch ideal for operations in harsh environments. APEM recommends it in applications for material handling, loaders, lift trucks, buckets and shovels.

The IHL series is used in applications where a linear output is preferable. According to APEM, typical uses of the IHL switch are when operators need to control motion and speed. The switch can be used to control valves or variable speed drives and can be used in various applications including industrial controls, heavy-duty equipment and handling.
