Küfner 75m brings record height to PartnerLift

Küfner Arbeitsbühnen has expanded its rental fleet to include a 75m truck mounted platform from Palfinger.

The P750 arrived at the company’s site in Kulmbach, Upper Franconia Kulmbach, at the beginning of July and was immediately put to use. It was acquired through German rental cooperative PartnerLift, of which Küfner has been a member since 2006.

“Until now, our 70m Palfinger-Wumag machine was our flagship,” said Lukas Gieger from Küfner Arbeitsbühnen, “now we’ve added another five metres.”

The expansion of the company’s 150-unit fleet was necessary because the current 70m machine has been very well utilised and further model in the height range was required. “This means we can offer our customers even greater flexibility in this area, whether regional or national.”

Küfner’s large machines travel from Potsdam to the Allianz Arena and from Görlitz to Koblenz, and even further if required.

Rental partners Stöcklein Mietservice from Strullendorf and Barth Arbeitsbühnen from Schweinfurt came to Kulmbach to welcome the unit, which is now the highest aerial platform in the PartnerLift network.

Once in the yard, the machine went straight to its first assignment – a several week project in overhead line construction. This will be one of its daily tasks alongside bridge inspections, mobile phone mast assembly and deployment to the country’s Air Force.
