KHL Power portfolio evolves to reflect new energy mix

Website and name changes will better reflect changing energy dynamics

The systems and components that factor into the energy mix for today and tomorrow’s on- and off-highway equipment and power generation applications continue to evolve at a rapid pace. To keep pace with this changing environment, KHL Group’s Power division is evolving, as well, by rebranding its properties under the new name, Power Progress, and integrating three of its websites into a single web portal to become the industry’s largest and most all-encompassing information resource.

The evolution has already begun with the merger of Diesel & Gas Turbine Worldwide as part of what is currently Diesel Progress and Diesel Progress International editorial coverage.* Content highlighting large four-stroke engines as well as other power systems and components required to move heavier vessels and equipment and power microgrids and backup power systems is being integrated on www.DieselProgress.com and featured as part of the ongoing print coverage in what is currently known as Diesel Progress International.

As of January 1, 2024, the new web portal, www.PowerProgress.com, will launch, further integrating DieselProgress.com and NewPowerProgress.com into a larger portal site. In addition, the print editions of Diesel Progress and Diesel Progress International will henceforth become Power Progress and Power Progress International, effective with the first issues of the New Year.

“Diesel will remain a key technology and the Power Progress publications and site will continue to cover the latest news and information related to it. However, the future will encompass technologies beyond diesel,” said Becky Schultz, vice president – content, KHL Power Division. “Since its founding in 1935, Diesel Progress has always covered the latest technologies as they’ve emerged, but under the Power Progress badge, it will better reflect the changing industry dynamics, in which internal combustion engines, electrification, alternative fuels and other technologies will all factor into the energy mix.”

Power Progress will continue to be the leading information source for the systems and components that power the products that in turn keep your businesses moving forward.
