MEC Aerial Work Platforms has appointed Jay Lucyk as its new regional sales manager for Canada.

In the role Lucyk, who has 20 years experience in the industry, will focus on growing strategic partnerships and expanding the company into new growth opportunities.

Lucyk entered the industry with John Deere and then Caterpillar and most recently with JCB as regional sales manager. He will collaborate directly with MEC’s Canadian partners and oversee opportunities in the Canadian market, while the manufacturer expands its product offerings.

The appointment follows that of Paul Weller as VP of business development earlier in the year.

“Through his vast industry experience, Jay brings a solid foundation for continued partnership with MEC customers as well as developing new relationships. Jay’s addition to the MEC sales team is one of the many strategic commitments to expanding our business in all the Canadian Provinces,” said Pat Witte, MEC vice president of sales.
