Tadano Faun will present its new 130 tonne capacity all terrain for the first time at the SAIE 2009 exhibition in Bologna, Italy. The ATF 130G-5 follows the launch of its prototype in the second quarter of this year.

The crane closes the gap between the ATF 110G-5 and ATF 160G-5, which have lifting capacities of 110 and 160 tonnes, respectively. The chassis is available as 10 x 6 x 10 or a 10 x 8 x 10 drive/steer configuration. "It is the first time the all-wheel steering is standard, with no lifting of an axle being essential for the crab gear," said the company.

The six section, 60 m boom has a single cylinder telescopic system and strong capacity charts throughout, added Tadano Faun. The boom extension, up to its maximum 32 m, is available as a mechanical or hydraulic version - a new feature for five axle Tadano Faun cranes. In addition, a 3.8 m heavy-duty jib is integrated, providing a maximum capacity of 40 tonnes.

A taxi version of the ATF 130G-5 is also available. It falls within 12 tonne axle loads and includes 6 tonnes of the maximum 42 tonnes counterweight.

The manufacturer will be exhibiting at SAIE for the first time with its new Italian distributor Officina Riparazione Autogru (O.R.A srl). Until now the company has only provided service for Tadao Faun.
