Two new Fassi hydraulic cranes
14 April 2016
Italy-based crane manufacturer Fassi Gru has debuted two new truck cranes at the 2016 Bauma show in Munich. The F1650RA xhe-dynamic crane and F255A xe dynamic crane were shown for the first time at the show’s opening on Monday, along with a selection of the company’s other models.
The F1650RA was created for challenging lifting jobs, Fassi said, and uses the Prolink system to give manoeuvrability in restricted or congested spaces. It has a lifting capacity of up to 130 tonnes and the maximum hydraulic reach is up to 41 metres with a jib. The crane is available in three versions with 4, 6 and 8 boom sections, with 5 possible jib combinations.
Joining the Fassi xe range is the F255A with a maximum load moment rating of 22 tonnes and a maximum hydraulic reach of 17.1 m, which becomes 25 m in the version with four extension booms paired with the L213 hydraulic extension plus manual extensions. The company describes the power-to-weight ratio as remarkable and the perfect solution when you need a high-performance truck crane pairing.
The crane is available in various versions, up to a maximum of six hydraulic extension booms in the base configuration and in four versions with a short final section.
