In the U.S., Engine manufacturer Deutz has rebranded its Chicago service center and has upgraded former distributor Wolter Power to serve as a fully authorized dealer.

Deutz Service Center Chicago will now be known as Deutz Power Center Great Lakes. The facility, which serves customers in Northern and East Central Illinois and Northern Indiana, will now see its coverage area expand to include Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

Prior to the rebranding the center provided engine parts and scheduled and emergency servicing for Deutz engines. As a Deutz Power Center, it will now offer dedicated application engineering and technical sales resources for OEMs as well.

Dominick Vermet, Deutz Power Center general manager, said, “Our Chicago-area staff are very excited to meet our new customers in this expanded territory.

“By combining our Deutz-centric expertise with nearly US$1 million genuine Deutz parts on our shelves, we’re uniquely positioned to better assist our dealers and help our end users improve their productivity. All we do is Deutz, and we’re completely focused on providing the best sales and service around.”

Deutz Power Center Great Lakes will support the newly certified dealer Wolter Power, which will offer complete engine services and Deutz parts.
