2011 compact screen debut from Anaconda
21 December 2010
Northern Ireland-based Anaconda Equipment International, one of the more recent newcomers to the compact mobile crushing and screening equipment sector, has announced the launch of its second new screen, the tracked/wheeled SR410. This follows the launch of its DF410 scalper at the 2010 Hillhead show in the UK.
The SR410 follows one of the precepts that lay behind Anaconda's design for the DF410 - ease of shipping and transport. According to production director Martin Quinn: "The screener can be decommissioned and transported with ease on a low loader or shipped worldwide as it will track in and out of a 40ft container without any breakdown. This cost saving is passed onto the end user which, in some cases, can result in a £5,000+ (US$7,800) saving."
The SR410 is a conventional mobile screen designed primarily for use in the sand and gravel, aggregate and coal sectors, although it can be used in a wide variety of other applications. According to Martin: ""The SR410 is 12 months in the making from initial concept, through design, build and finally testing. This machine has been put together with the help of several key dealers who form such an integral part of the team here at Anaconda. Testing has gone very well and the order book has started to fill up a little, which is the best you can hope for in any new product launch." Anaconda's equipment is distributed through a worldwide network of dealers.
Options on the SR410 include belt or direct material feed to the screenbox, wheel or track mounted chassis, a variety of screen media, remote control and either tipping or vibrating grid.
