Bronto Skylift has launched the Bronto 5+ control system, an upgrade of the Bronto+.

The next generation system features full colour resistive touch screens. Its interface is easier and quicker to use and learn, with information supporting the operator in all situations.

It is based on actual calculations and stability parameters, guaranteeing maximum outreach in any situation and is not sensitive to changes of ambient or oil temperature, said the manufacturer. It is designed to provide smooth, safe and accurate movements in the most severe operating conditions.

The Bronto+ system also enables variable jacking, as well as selecting the rescue cage load according to the working situation. With these variables the system automatically calculates the maximum allowed outreach in every direction.

Additional features coming in 2017, include device independent communication over WLAN, as well as the ability to access the control system with mobile devices.
