US access equipment manufacturer Elliott Equipment Company has added an aluminium line body built by Alum-Line to its M43 HiReach telescopic aerial work platform.

The Alum-Line toolbox body provides storage for lamps, tools and supplies in a series of lockable boxes resting below the bed.

Designed for maintenance and light construction work, the M43 is purpose-built for light duty personnel lifting with a total unmounted weight of 8400lbs (3.8t). The 500lb (227kg) capacity platform can carry two workers, and the optional jib can lift 500lbs (227kg) of payload up into the platform.

The Alum-Line body features a 12ft 4in (3.75m) aluminium tread plate bed covered with Elliott's non-skid coating. The body is composed of a saddle box behind the cab, two 48in (1.22m) wide underbody boxes, and two 28in (71cm) wide underbody boxes at the rear. The bed also includes smooth aluminium fender skirting and tie down rails on both sides of the bed.

Other features of the M43 include strobe lights on the turret, LED lights in the body, and a power inverter in a toolbox.
