Dromad Hire has taken Ireland’s first Hinowa Lightlift 26.14 Performance IIIS.

This crawler-mounted articulated boom provides a 25.7 m maximum working height (23.7 m platform height) and up to 13.6m of horizontal reach.

Dromad Hire managing director Seamus Byrne said, “We are proud to have one of the largest and most comprehensive fleets of tracked booms in the Irish plant hire industry.

“The new Hinowa 26.14 further extends our product offering in crawler-mounted lifts, which are increasingly in demand with our customers due to their specialised applications - particularly indoor use.”

Dromad Hire has also purchased two Hinowa 14.70 Goldlifts and a Hinowa 17.75 Lightlift IIIS this year. All four machines were supplied by Access Platform Sales (APS), the exclusive UK distributor for Hinowa.

Jim Daintith of IAPS Group, owner of APS, visited Dundalk to hand over the machines. “Dromad Hire continues to go from strength to strength,” he said. “The company is carving out a deserved reputation as a leading supplier of tracked booms in Ireland and Northern Ireland.”
