Barin has delivered a second ABC 230/L bridge inspection unit to Daegu, South Korea.

The machine, owned by Korea Expressway Corporation is mounted on a 4-axle Scania P410 8x4 truck chassis made in Sweden. The upper structure can work to an underbridge outreach of 23 m.

The turret can be adjusted up to 8.4 m beneath bridge deck level, while overreaching sidewalks up to 3m and bridge railings of up to 5m. Total load capacity is 600kg.

The platform is fitted with a scaffold system, suitable for carrying one operator and tools up to 4.5m above the platform floor.

During road service, the machine occupies one traffic lane only, and has a width of 2.5m, allowing the traffic to flow on the other lane.
