An example of a TEAM Card

An example of a TEAM Card

LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) has launched a new website that allows users to verify the registration and identity of people holding a TEAM Card.

Users simply need to enter the unique serial number found on the TEAM Card and the company name to view a digital copy of the card itself, along with the holder’s LEEA Diploma qualifications and relevant work experience. The online tool allows users to confirm the authenticity of the card and the holder’s skills and expertise, or to identify any attempts at fraud and deception, a spokesperson from LEEA said.

John Williams, LEEA operations manager, said, “The TEAM Card is rapidly becoming a prerequisite for anyone intending to test, examine or maintain overhead lifting equipment. This new online tool reflects our commitment to ensuring only properly qualified workers are able to work on safety-critical equipment such as cranes, hoists, slings and load lifting attachments.”

The tool is online at: www.leeaint.com
