Layher provides e-Learning

Layher France is offering free e-learning courses to scaffolding professionals who are in isolation during the COVID-19 outbreak.

The scaffolding manufacturer, which has its headquarters in Germany, has set up the video conferences and learning to help widen and share knowledge in the industry.

“Via its Layher Formation subsidiary, Layher France will enable its customers and collaborators to enrich and consolidate their knowledge of the scaffolding profession thanks to 100% free webinars to make the confinement period rewarding,” said a company spokesperson.

At the end of the webinars, access to the e-Learning platform will be allocated to those who wish to continue training. Seven themes will be addressed during the video conferences:

  • Legislation and corporate responsibility
  • Design of scaffolding
  • Resistance and admissible loads
  • Stabilisation of scaffolding
  • Special scaffolding
  • Responsibilities related to PPE – harnesses
  • Draw a facade with Windec/sketchup
