TFP Farrells' Kingkey 100 tops out

China's newest landmark tower, the TFP Farrells' designed Kingkey Finance Tower, known as the Kingkey 100, has topped out at a special ceremony to mark the occasion.
The 441.8-m, 100-storey tower is the tallest building ever completed by a British architect and the eighth tallest building in the world.
Located in Shenzhen, southern China's major financial centre, Kingkey Finance Tower is part of a 417000 m2 mixed-use development designed by Farrells' Hong Kong Office.
The development includes five residential and two commercial towers. The main tower is linked to a retail podium that connects directly to a new metro station.
The floors of the tower are divided into three major areas. Floors 4 to 72 will house 173000 m2 of office space, from 75 to 100 will be a 35000 m2 "6-star" Luxury Hotel, while the "crowning" sky lobby on the top three floors will house a variety of restaurants.
