The company's Daniel Vanak said the rapid growth of the Indian economy, and the numerous major infrastructure projects underway, had “generated a huge requirement for a wide variety of material handling equipment and vehicle–mounted maintenance equipment, such as aerial platforms.”

He said Vanjax was looking for a company “willing to share its know how with an Indian company”. Vanjax, which is based in Chennai, makes trailer–and vehicle–mounted platforms as well as other industrial equipment, and has recently expanded into a larger 8300 m2 manufacturing facility.
