The XV350 VSI vertical shaft impactor is the latest addition to Terex Pegson's

Terex Pegson gave a world premier to its new XV350 VSI (vertical shaft impactor) crusher at the Hillhead show in the UK at the end of June.

The new unit features the Terex Canica 2050 DG vertical shaft impactor, which is driven by a 326 kW (438 hp) Caterpillar C13 engine. The feed is via a 1.3 m (4.2 ft) wide variable speed incline belt that can be raised and lowered hydraulically for transport. Maximum feed size is up to 102 mm (4 in), producing a maximum throughput of up to 350 tonnes an hour depending on the application. Processed material is fed onto a 1 m (3.2 ft) wide product conveyor that has a 3.46 m (11.3 ft) discharge height. Standard spec includes spray bars with atomiser nozzles for dust suppression at the crusher mouth, product conveyor feed and discharge point.
