Transport specialist InterMax Logistics Solution shipped a boat load of used crawler cranes from Taiwan to the Middle East.

InterMax delivered the dismantled cranes on 24 trucks to the port of Taichung in Taiwan. There they were loaded onto a ship bound for Jebel Ali port in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

“We successfully sent multiple truckloads of machine parts to the Taichung Terminal in three days. A total of 24 trucks were dispatched throughout the day, efficiently transporting the goods to their destination,” explained an InterMax spokesperson.

Not part of the plan

An unexpected challenge arose when loading the vessel. One of the crane components was too big, preventing the ship’s hatch cover from being closed.

“To address this issue, we needed to dismantle the oversized component and rearrange its position before securing it for transport. This careful handling ensured that all items reach their destination safely and intact,” the spokesperson continued.
