Ace Tree Management’s new Barin AP 70/33 J2 aerial platform gets to work

Australian rental firm Ace Tree Management has put its latest fleet addition, a Barin AP 70/33 J2 truck mount, out to work at the Wonthaggi Wind Farm in Victoria.

The 70 m platform is being used for inspection and maintenance works on the six wind turbines at the plant.

The AP 70/33 J2 is mounted onto a five-axle DAF FADCF75 truck chassis. The upper structure is a bucket-type aerial platform, capable of achieving an overhead working height of 70 m or a lateral outreach of 33 m. The platform has a safe working load of 400 kg.

A modem system enables Barin to check the electronics and make adjustments from Italy.
