Mammoet SPMT is being used to transport the 12,000 tonne Statoil Gudrun platform by energy Services company Aibel Haugesund in Norway.

Statoil's Gudrun is a fixed processing platform supported by a 7,400 tonne steel jacket. To move the cargo Aibel is using self propelled modular transporters (SPMT) from Scheuerle. In total 432 axles, each with a load capacity of 48 tonnes, are being used. The SPMTs were hired out by Mammoet Norway.

Aibel is due to deliver the completed deck to its destination in July 2013.
