The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) – parent company of AWPT Inc. – launched its worldwide harness campaign at Bauma, calling on all users of boom platforms “to wear a full body harness with a short restraint lanyard attached to a suitable anchor point.” The organisation has printed stickers in a wide range of languages and is hoping that rental companies will place the stickers on all their machines.
