Allen has introduced the 4836B bridge deck finisher (BDF) to its line-up of concrete pavers.

Allen Concrete Pavers has introduced the 4836B bridge deck finisher (BDF) featuring hydraulic controls for powering the mainframe and a dual-roller finishing carriage.

The company said the dual-roller finishing carriage makes the machine more user friendly than previous models.

Standard features of the BDF include 19 kW engines powering the 914 mm deep mainframe and finishing carriage, manual crank legs and dual 203 mm diameter x 1.2 m long finishing rollers.

The new machine also has a 127 mm hydraulic carriage lift, hydraulically controlled roller tamper and a single drag pan with burlap drag.

Allen is also launching the 6048B bridge deck finisher which incorporates many of the same features as the 4836B model.
