Allison Transmission Holdings has opened a new facility in Sliedrecht, Netherlands, for parts distribution and product customisation for customers across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The centre will also house a technical training facility for technicians and end users. Information and knowledge will be passed on by certified Allison Transmission instructors, a company spokesperson said.

Michael Headly, senior vice president of global marketing, sales and service at Allison Transmission, said, “This facility further expands Allison’s capability to provide our OEMs with transmissions that are installation ready. We are focused on providing the best overall value to our customers, which includes services such as those available from our new facility.”
