Atlas Copco acquires Belgian specialty renter

Atlas Copco has acquired Belgium-based specialty rental company Delta Temp. No financial details of the deal have been disclosed.

Headquartered in Oosterzele, Delta Temp owns a fleet of chillers and related accessories and designs and delivers customised rental solutions for industrial cooling applications.

It also sells mobile air conditioners, evaporator coolers and industrial chilling units.

As well as operations in Belgium, it has one depot in the Netherlands and three in Germany, where it also has six service partners.

The company, which employs 20 members of staff and generated SEK100 million (€9 million) in 2023, will join Atlas Copco Group’s Specialty Rental division.

Andrew Walker, business area president, Power Technique, said, “Delta Temp’s technical competence and application expertise, combined with the Specialty Rental division’s existing large industrial customer base, will enable us to accelerate the growth of our temperature control business in Europe.”

Atlas Copco has been on somewhat of an an acqusition drive in 2024. Earlier this year it acquired compressor specialists Pacific Sales & Service, Zahroof Valves and Druckluft-Technik-Nord.

It also added German pump manufacturer Kracht to its Power and Flow Division within the Power Technique business area in January.
