ATN shows its new 12m scissor at Vertical Days 2011

French manufacturer ATN demonstrated its new 12m working height scissor at Vertikal Days, which, along with a 15m model, have recently been CE marked and are currently undergoing intensive on-the-job testing.

Dominique Lacombe, ATN's sales manager, said that when the company is satisfied they have ironed out any little problems the machines should go into production in October.

"We have had lots of interest in the new models," she said, "but we aren't prepared to sell until we are completely happy."

In the pipeline are a 20m scissor and a new 18m working height version of the company's Zebra articulated boom.

Ms Lacombe said ATN will continue to add products to complete its range following the company's principles of machines that are robust, easy to maintain, and therefore cheap to own.
