Aussie Pumps recently launched the new Scud AB40 GT pressure washer, a revamped version of its existing Scud AB40.

The 4,000psi unit has an upgraded Bertolini pump that is powered by a 13hp (9.7kW) Honda recoil start engine.

It features 13 inch steel wheels and solid tyres, with axles that are closely spaced for easy manoeuvring of the pressure washer. It also has a bolt-on push handle that doubles up as a hose rack.

Measuring 900x800x900mm, the Scud AB40 GT is compact, and it is housed in a redesigned stainless-steel frame with no sharp edges or corners.

Health and safety was also important in the design of the revamped model. Aussie Pumps’ Operations Manager Hamish Lorenz said, “We really worked overtime to make this the safest machine and even included a safety kit with safety valve to protect the machine and the operator in the event of pressure spikes.”

A thermal dump valve on the unit protects it against excessive by-pass operation.

A stainless-steel hose reel with capacity to carry up to 30m of hose will soon be available.
