New from Bobcat is the 3 tonne E32 conventional tail swing and E35 zero tail swing machines that weigh in at 3.327 kg (7,320 lb) and 3,493 kg (7,685 lb) respectively. According to the company, both offer smooth and precise workgroup control, exceptional hydraulic performance, enhanced operator convenience and comfort, along with increased reliability.

Both machines are powered by a Kubota D1803-M-D1-E3B-BC-3 diesel that delivers 24.8 kW at 2,600 rpm and both have a maximum dig depth of 3.1 m (10.2 ft) and dump height of 3.4 m (11.2 ft), while the E32 has a maximum reach at ground level of 5 m (16.4 ft) with that of the E35 being 5.2 m (17 ft).

Bobcat says that the air intake, cooling and exhaust systems, along with the hydraulic pump and valve have been designed to provide a lower bystander noise of 94 dBA and operator noise level of 78 dBA. In addition, sealed floor plates and hydraulic hose routing below the floor mat and adjacent to the operator seat isolate the operator from unwelcome heat in the cab.

Both machines feature a thumb-operated boom offset control on the left joystick that provides enhanced boom swing control while at the same time provides greater floor space for the operator due to the absence of the more usual pedal controls. An autoshift travel motor provides smooth travel in all operating conditions since it provides automatic shift from low to high speed ranges and back again. This can be selected via a rocker switch on the right dashboard.
