Brokk to showcase ‘smallest robot’ at ConExpo

Remote-controlled demolition machine manufacturer Brokk has confirmed that it will show the smallest electric robot in its range at this year’s ConExpo-Con/Agg exhibition in Las Vegas, USA.

At 880 mm (35 in) high and 597 mm (23.5 in) wide, the Brokk 70 fits through narrow doorways and into tight spaces, making it suitable for interior demolition applications.

And with a base weight of 560 kg (1,235 lb), it can also be transported on an ordinary passenger lift for top-down demolition projects in urban areas.

The three-part arm extends to 3.2 m (10 ft 6 in) vertically and 2.7 m (9 ft) horizontally, while the Brokk 70 incorporates the SmartConcept system, which is said to ensure improved performance and uptime.
